Dickin Green Lane. With The Dicken Green Public House on the left. On the right is a Nursing Home built on the site of Bootham's Farm.

Dickin Green Public House on the left and over the road (Dicken Green Lane) is the new Nursing Home.

The Rochdale Canal near Hartley Lane which is near Dicken Green Lane. The Canal was reopened in 2002.

St Mary's Gate at the junction with The Esplanade and Dane Street. Potograph taken from the bottom of the Manchester Road.. The building on the right was the Library.

The same photograph taken further up the Manchester Road. The building on the left replaced the Old Baptist Church. In the background is the College Building and the tower block flats.

ASDA and Currys have been built on the Cricket Ground. On the horison however is the unchanging Knowl Hill
