There is a lot going on in Rochdale.

However if you read the local press and the comments from its readers you would think differently

The local press  would have its readers believe that Rochdalians are a load of whingers including councillors. Having looked at what is happening in Rochdale these whingers seem to be blinkered or blind.

Here is a list of some of the developments in Rochdale over the last year. The intention is to up date this page on a regular basis.

 

1.       New 6th Form College Link to College

2.       Aldi opened a new Store near the centre of town. Link to Aldi

3.       Metro Link Trams under construction Link to Metro Link

4.       JD Sports  Head Office and Distribution Warehouse well under construction

5.       All the largest plots on Kingsway Business Park are under offer. Link to Kingsway Business Park

6.       Construction of a Leisure centre and swimming pool on Entwisle Road expected to start in 2 weeks time.
