The Rochdale Canal from Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge

The Rochdale Canal and the Calder and Hebble Navigation join at Sowerby Bridge. From Sowerby Bridge “The Rochdale” climbs up into the Pennine Hills in a westerly direction passing through the villages of Luddenden Foot, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and down to Littleborough.

This page covers “The Rochdale” from Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge. In this section there are some eight locks and fourteen stone road bridges.
